When we looked at their portfolio, we were very, very pleased. Their team has been superb, as they managed to craft functional yet aesthetically pleasing designs, and with excellent workmanship, given that the kitchens we saw still hold up years later.
Their prices aren’t the most affordable, though, but not ridiculously expensive, and we understand why. The work they’ve done and the materials used are of good value and have aged well.
They’re a busy bunch, so expect a little while before receiving a quote. But once they take on your project, they’re very responsive, and the team will wait for your go signal in case of unexpected changes.

A highlight is their custom and semi-custom cabinetry, which you can see right from their showroom. These come in various styles and budgets, which is very convenient, considering their kitchen remodeling services are priced a bit higher.
The quality of the materials and workmanship match the price, though. The custom cabinets are sturdy and still in tip-top shape, even years later.
We want to highlight their attention to detail, as their clients praised the designers for listening and giving recommendations without being pushy. The whole process felt collaborative, which shows their professionalism.

The Heartland Builders only started in 2019, and even with less than a decade of experience, they’ve proven themselves already. We can confidently say that, because while doing our research, we learned that they 100% brought to life their clients’ visions.
Making it to our list wasn’t shocking, especially since they’re versatile. What’s not to love when they do remodels, exterior work, and repairs?
Their design services are also all-around, offering tailored services to complete your dream kitchen. From what we’ve seen, they were hands-on with their support by revising the designs quickly and even working long hours.
One of our favourites is how they managed to create a good layout, where the space flows freely while offering functionality. Aesthetics don’t take a back seat, as most clients were happy with their kitchen transformations, even in old homes.
Better communication would’ve made them perfect, as there are times when they responded to inquiries a bit slower when they were busy. That’s not a usual occurrence, thankfully.

Tremaine Corporation receives a 5/5 for experience because they’ve been around since 1921. For all those years, they’ve continued to specialise in kitchen and bathroom remodels.
And when you check their completed projects, you’ll see how well they do. They know how to transform a space from dull to stylish, and they can work on any kind of design.
In addition, we appreciate their use of organic elements, statement backsplashes, mixed metals, and vast color palettes. Even though they embrace bold designs, they still manage to make minimalist styles, which you can see in their showroom.
Their showroom closes a tad early on Fridays, unfortunately, so visit early if you want to see the materials they work with.
What’s important is that they’re exceptional from start to finish. The way we see it, they know how to create more storage spaces without making the kitchen feel cramped.
And as sustainability advocates, they use energy-efficient appliances. We’re glad to report that these don’t compromise the overall look of the kitchen.
