What stands out the most with ONiT Painting is how easy they are to work with.
From the first call to the completion of the project, the company’s staff are on-point, responsive, and collaborative. They really make sure the result is stress-free, delivering a high-quality paint job that follows all specifications.
They also offer a full range of painting services—including interior, exterior, deck, and fence—not just for homes. I appreciate that they also bring the same top-notch service to commercial buildings and establishments.
One thing I also appreciate is the accuracy of their quotes. Based on my experience and what others have said, ONiT Painting usually gets the pricing right from the start.
And I believe you can truly trust them, given that they’ve snagged special awards like the Angi Super Service Award 2023 and the Best of Houzz Service 2023—so yeah, they’re not just winging it.
But yet again, I did hear that they occasionally hire independent contractors. A friend of mine had a disappointing experience with one whose work was rushed, which could reflect poorly on the company’s reputation for quality.

I’ve seen ALL IN Painting’s work—both at my aunt’s house and friend’s office—and I can confidently vouch for the high standard of their service.
In addition to usual interior and exterior painting, they also do impressive cabinet refinishing, which shows their range and attention to detail.
What stood out to me is that they don’t cut corners with materials. They use only durable paint, including a high-quality Italian coating called Sayerlack. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a European brand known for its top-notch wood coatings, adding a long-lasting finish.
Many of their previous clients have also pointed out how communicative the crew is. They ensure that everyone stays informed throughout the entire process.
I also appreciate that they’re meticulous with cleanup. They don’t leave a mess behind—they follow a thorough clean-up routine, which is something I find incredibly convenient.
Just one thing to be aware of is the turnaround time. My aunt mentioned her home repainting took about 10 days from her initial call to final completion. For a relatively minor exterior job, that’s a bit longer than expected.

There are three things I appreciate most about Five Star Painting.
First, I was impressed by how fast the company works. They got back to me just a minute after my initial call, and I was scheduled for a quote within 90 seconds. The initial pricing came in less than a day, which honestly surprised me—in a good way.
Second, I like that Five Star Painting consistently delivers paint jobs on time and budget without compromising the quality of their work.
Lastly, I really value how much the company prioritizes cleanliness. For the three days they worked, the staff left their work areas spotless each time.
Of course, I must also mention their user-friendly Color Visualizer on the website. It’s a thoughtful feature that makes it easy for clients like me to explore and choose the right colors for their space.
If I had one gripe, it would be that Five Star Painting’s rates are around 10-15% higher than the industry average.

What’s even more impressive is that they’ve made the list 17 times in 17 years. That kind of consistency speaks volumes about the quality of their work.
The company’s staff are also extremely detail-oriented and meticulous in their approach. Everything is carefully planned and executed precisely, resulting in a clean, high-quality paint job every time.
Their efficiency is another clear advantage. Many clients have praised the crew’s ability to complete the work quickly, often finishing the job three to four days ahead of schedule.
They also use some of the finest paints and primers. They’re even affiliated with Fine Paints of Europe, so you can feel confident that the finish will last and look great for years.
One concern I have is that Fine Painting Inc. might be a victim of its own success. Because they’re so popular, getting a slot on their schedule can be challenging.

Exterior painting is where All Pro Painting Company truly shines—it’s their specialty, and I’d even argue they’re the best at it. Their work is consistently clean and even, always delivering a beautiful finish.
They emphasize on quality. They make it a point to apply two coats of paint to the walls every time, which not all painters actually do to save more—and that’s the truth.
I also have to give them credit for being honest and upfront. They provide accurate quotes right from the start, so there are no hidden fees or unexpected charges down the line, which is reassuring.
All Pro Painting Company has also been around for a while—they’ve been recognized since 2000. Over the years, they’ve earned awards like Expertise’s Best Painters in Indianapolis since 2019.
However, I’ve heard that booking an appointment with them has become more difficult lately. One reason is their growing client base. Additionally, I’ve been told that they’ve become more selective with the projects they take on.
