It made moving day so much less stressful. Their specialized climate control and vehicle storage also keep sensitive furniture safe from temperature spikes. However, keep an eye on your bill after a few months.
Their introductory rates are aggressive, but prices can jump once the promotion ends. But since they rely so much on tech, you might find that on-site managers aren’t always physically there when you have a question.

What I loved most was StorageMart’s Clean standard, with bright, freshly painted hallways that feel far safer than a dark basement. The indoor loading bays are a huge plus, too, keeping you dry while you unload, even when it’s raining or snowing!
I’ve noticed their local site managers are very responsive if you ever have an issue with your gate code. Just be careful with their insurance requirements, as they often mandate a protection plan that adds an extra fee to your quote.
Plus, their gate hours are a bit more restrictive than others, so don’t plan on a midnight move.

This is a well maintained storage facility. Very clean and easy to maneuver around. I initially signed an agreement online and when I arrived the unit was smaller than expected (hello support beam). The manager, Bill was very helpful in finding a unit that fit our needs. He was patient and explained everything. They’re definitely optimized for the short term, since base rates tend to jump quickly after the first three months. If you don’t bring proof of your own insurance, their Orange Door plan becomes a mandatory add-on that increases the total cost.

SecurCare Self Storage combines corporate reliability with local neighborhood management. Being part of the NSA Storage family means they have corporate-level reliability, but the property management team still knows the local neighborhood.
The facility specializes in multi-vehicle storage. Heated garages accommodate boats, while wide outdoor spots fit large RVs comfortably in the Avon and Indy area.
Their facilities feature wide aisles, which makes maneuvering a massive moving truck much less terrifying. I’ve found their online management portal to be one of the most stable for setting up autopay.
On the negative side, they do charge a one-time administrative fee that can be annoying for very short-term renters. Also, as they merge with larger systems, some long-time customers have reported a bit of administrative friction with their paperwork.
