“I had a very tall oak that needed to go. PR Tree Service was not the lowest (a few hundred dollars) but seemed more professional than any others. And boy were they! They were here on time, The tree was in tight quarters to my house and my neighbors. I was very impressed with the ease of them taking it down and grinding the stump. They cleaned up my yard, my neighbors yard and the street where the shredder was located. Very hard working crew. Professional in every way, from the equipment down to the uniforms. “Monster Tree Service are tree magicians. The price is extremely fair for the service provided, and their team is super friendly and professional. The owner walked me through the insurance process which helped me get more money back from my insurer than they offered originally. A neighbor’s tree fell on my shed, ripped out my electrical line, and crushed my fence. My shed full of glass vases and planters was still standing but was bending under the weight of the tree. I told Monster Tree if at all possible, please save the shed when removing the trunk. Not only did they keep the shed intact through careful cutting, they also coordinated with the electrician fixing the service line to lessen the amount of time I was without power. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves better than any of the other companies I’ve used for similar services, and even had some treats in their truck for my cat. “We recently purchased a home in Geist and unfortunately the Ash tree in the front of the home had been hit by the EAB. I had called and spoke with five contractors for tree removal prior to finding JT’s tree service. All five contractor swiftly came out and gave us an estimate then never returned. They never called and never showed up. I reached out to JT’s tree service and Joel promptly returned my call, came out the very same day which was a Friday and evaluated my tree. He gave me a very competitive estimate and his word that he would be back on Monday or Tuesday pending no unforeseen homes in eminent danger due to trees or branches falling from inclement weather. Joel is a man of his word. His crew of 5 including him was perfectly orchestrated. I am a retired quality assurance nurse and I’ll honestly tell you it was like watching a perfectly orchestrated surgery take place. Every single member of the crew knew exactly their role and everyone worked in unison. Everyone had on protective equipment and they had my tree and six shrubs cut down cleaned up and stumps ground away within 45 minutes and off they went. It takes a lot to impress this lady because I’ve been around for 50 years and I’ve seen a lot of things but what I’ve learned in my lifetime is to trust what people do not what they say. “What a great experience! I submitted a quote for removal of a VERY large pine tree (taller than our 2 story house) and a smaller tree and within 1 day I received a very reasonable quote. The team was out to complete the removal within a few days and even did it with snow and ice on the ground. I added on branch removal and thinning for an additional tree on the day of service and the additional cost was incredibly reasonable. They had both trees down, stumps ground, trimming of the additional tree, and cleanup completed in just over 1 hour. They were a well oiled machine. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“John trimmed and thin two large Norway maples, a Japanese Red Maple, a Hawthorne and a very large poplar that had storm damage. I have had several different services do my tree work over the last 40 years and his trimming was the best. I had a lot of growth in the Maples that needed to be cleared and now when the wind blows the trees no longer whip and twist. My Poplar was damaged from a neighbors tree falling into the top. He easily rope climbed the 40 feet to the top and cleared all the damage. I will not hesitate to call him again when the time comes. His quote was in my hand immediately and we had him do the work the next day. He removed a 45 foot Bradford Pear, grinded the stump, removed a small Japanese Maple and a burning bush from our landscaped area and did an excellent job. Clean up was perfect.
