Rolling out a yoga mat in the Circle City helps you find your center amid the daily grind.
After long downtown shifts, stressed professionals come to decompress, while fitness enthusiasts build strength in Indianapolis studios that feel like home.
I have spent plenty of time exploring the local wellness scene, and I’ve seen how the right atmosphere can turn a simple class into a lasting habit.
These studios we’re featuring showcase Indy’s yoga scene at its strongest, blending intense heated flows with the fun challenge of aerial silks.
I chose them based on their unique vibes and expert instruction to help you find your perfect flow.
How much does a yoga class cost in Indianapolis?
Most yoga options in Indy generally fall in the $15–$160 range, depending on the class style and how often you attend. This range covers everything from basic drop-ins to more premium offerings.
If you plan to practice regularly, memberships usually sit toward the higher end of that range. Meanwhile, occasional classes and discounted sessions tend to land closer to the lower end.
1. Invoke Studio

Website: http://www.invokestudio.com/
Address: 970 Fort Wayne Ave, Suite C
Contact: +1 317-631-9642 / [email protected]
Hours: Available 24 hours (Check schedule for class times)
Invoke Studio blends high-energy fitness with intimate, high-touch instruction. To start, they stand out by pairing infrared-heated yoga with a focused Pilates Reformer program.
Plus, their reformer classes are capped at just five people, so instructors can closely watch your form and give real-time alignment cues.
This small-group setup gives you the personalized attention of private training while still keeping the energy and affordability of a class.
When I stopped by their downtown studio on a particularly rainy Tuesday, I was immediately cheered up by the bright, welcoming energy. The teachers are amazing, and a regular I spoke with said the instructors are anatomy experts when it comes to modifying poses for old injuries.
The only real downside is that those five-person reformer slots fill up almost instantly. So, if you want a slot during the post-work rush, you’ll need to stay on top of the booking app.

This was among my most favorite studio classes
Katie’s Vinyasa was a beautiful flow with unique transitions and a challenge to my practice. This was among my most favorite studio classes. Katie has a natural read to the energy of the room and was an insightful guide through the process. I appreciate a genuine studio and Katy made it apparent that this studio aligns itself with the genuine practice of yoga.

I’m loving both locations for all my yoga needs!
I’ve been going to Invoke for 3 years now and I’m loving both locations for all my yoga needs! I began with Brooke doing heated yoga, but now I’m an Ahna junkie for gentle flow vinyasa! Thanks for all the class choices too!

Forget about a quiet, cool meditation. The Yoga Studio is all about a high-energy, heart-pumping challenge with louder music. Their heated classes offer a true workout for both body and mind.
The heat stays intense and consistent, making it incredibly easy to sink into deep stretches and sweat out all your stress. You’ll definitely leave the mat feeling physically spent but mentally clear.
Even though the flows are fast-paced, the instructors are fantastic. I brought a total beginner friend once, and the teacher made her feel completely supported without ever slowing down the class’s momentum.
I especially love the energetic vibe at their Broad Ripple location!
Just a quick heads-up, though. Parking around that neighborhood can be a bit of a headache on weekend mornings.
Overall, it’s the ultimate choice for the power yoga crowd craving that incredible post-class reset.

All the classes are great!
I’ve been coming here for over a year and I’m obsessed. The heat really makes a difference. I have loved every instructor I’ve had. All the classes are great! I love the addition of Pilates and sculpt. I feel like I get a really good workout along with a calmer mind. I feel stronger than I have in years.

Everyone is friendly, welcoming, & wonderful!
I love this place! I used to go to Friday’s Hot Vinyasa class regularly & continued virtually during the covid year. But this was the first time back in so long & nothing had changed. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, & wonderful! Emily taught the best class! Her flows were just what I needed & the music was spot-on. Thank you, The Yoga Studio, for being the best!!

- Sun: 8 AM–6 PM
YogaSix Indianapolis uses goal-focused class structure to take the guesswork out of your practice.
To begin, the studio leans into a consistent, high-tech environment where lighting and temperature pair with curated playlists to support specific outcomes.
Next, classes like “Power,” “Restore,” and “Sculpt” are designed to deliver predictable results, so you always know what you’re signing up for.
Also, the space is sleek and modern, with a polished feel that’s closer to a high-end spa than a traditional yoga shala.
Recently, I tried their Sculpt & Flow class, which adds dumbbells and resistance bands, and it was a fun way to shake up my routine. It is a great choice for professionals who value predictability and a polished atmosphere.
However, long-time practitioners may find the corporate vibe a bit less soulful than Indy’s independent studios.
Still, while it sits on the pricier end of the boutique range, many people find the steady instruction quality worth the investment.

Great atmosphere!
Great atmosphere! The instructors, people, all of it. I’m a beginner to yoga, but I felt so welcomed. Just finished my first week and went to 10 different classes. They are so creative with the class names on their app, it makes it more fun. I really enjoy Elizabeth’s restore class. She even applies essential oils on you during practice. Her music was affirmation music & it was just a cool experience. I’ll be coming here!

I loved the studio and the playlist!
Stopped in for my first hot yoga class in years. I had a great experience and look forward to coming back. The Sunday am class was not so packed to where you were on top of each other like some other studios. I loved the studio and the playlist! It was upbeat and a great workout overall. Parking was easy and free on a Sunday!

CITYOGA feels less like a typical fitness studio and more like a holistic academy for lifelong spiritual and physical growth.
Something I find most interesting is the incredible depth of lineages they offer, ranging from Ashtanga and Kundalini to Trauma-Informed and Prenatal yoga.
Because it’s a major teacher-training hub, the instruction is detailed and grounded in both anatomy and philosophy. At the same time, the historic building gives the space a charming, lived-in feel you don’t get in newer franchises.
I especially value their commitment to accessibility, including donation-based classes that make practice possible at any budget. On top of that, I’ve met students who have been coming for a decade, and that kind of loyalty says a lot about the community here.
Still, since it hosts certifications, the lobby can get busy and feel a little institutional on training weekends. This can be a downside since the extra traffic and noise may disrupt the calm, grounded atmosphere that many people come for.

City Yoga is a very safe, serene spiritual community
City Yoga is a very safe, serene spiritual community. I recommend yin/sound bowl with Katarina and triple gong with Diane. Both of these gifted instructors are wise and grounded so your practice is honored w/o judgement. I leave anything that no longer serves me at the door and emerge feeling uplifted and positive. Thank you CY.

I loved that experience with teacher Kelly Shull so much
I came across Cityoga when I was looking for a prenatal yoga class to gift to my sister who was in her third trimester. I had never really done yoga before that, but I loved that experience with teacher Kelly Shull so much that I now aim to get to a class a week. My current favorite is heated slow flow with Charlotte Gretter- she is awesome!! It’s something I look forward to every week now! Highly recommend!

Myriad Yoga is easily one of the most fun spots in downtown Indy.
What really sets them apart is their Aerial Yoga, which pairs silk hammocks with a welcoming, trauma-informed approach to movement.
Instead of pushing a “perfect” look, they encourage a simple “you do you” mindset, helping you find poses that fit your anatomy and feel good in your body.
When I tried an aerial class here, it was easily one of the most fun things I’ve done in. Hanging upside down felt surprisingly freeing, and the gentle traction was a great way to decompress my spine.
The downtown studio is bright and high-energy, and the instructors do an excellent job helping beginners feel safe and confident. Plus, their membership includes both standard mat classes and aerial sessions for one price, which is a killer deal.
But since equipment is limited, aerial classes fill up fast, and it can be tough to snag your preferred time.

I’m always happy I’ve attended
Admittedly I’m biased, because a friend of mine teaches here, but I’ve really enjoyed the Flow Warm classes. The provided yoga mat is high quality and the sessions have been doable even for someone like me who isn’t super flexible. The studio is comfortable, and I’m always happy I’ve attended.

Myriad is a beautiful place
Myriad Yoga is truly home to me. The people are kind, the vibes are always so calming and positive, and the classes are always perfectly balanced between movement and rest, with themes each week that really help me tune into my body and the energies of my classmates and teachers. Myriad is a beautiful place. Come join our family!
