Watch Dog Home Inspections is a service that offers peace of mind because they’re qualified. They’re licensed, insured, and have years of experience under their belt, giving them the skills to spot all sorts of issues.
They offer pre-listing and new construction inspections, and their range of services is impressive. Aside from spotting damage and potential issues, they offer radon, mold, and air quality testing, as well as termite checks.
When it comes to availability, they’re an 8 out of 10. They open for last-minute services, which some clients praised them for, but they’re not accessible for busy schedules since they’re closed on weekends.
On the bright side, their home inspectors have been good at communicating, whether it’s about schedules or answering questions. We didn’t feel they were annoyed when going over the details.
The reports were exactly what we wanted—detailed with lots of photos, concise, easy to follow, and delivered on time. Overall, the service you get is exactly what you pay for.

Wren House Inspection caught our attention because of their services, which are made for buyers, sellers, and real estate agents. And there is a lot, which is why we like them.
For instance, their offerings include termite inspections, radon testing, and water purity testing. When you avail of their full home inspections, you’ll receive full interior and exterior checks, including crawlspaces.
A highlight is their quick delivery of reports, which they provided on the same day (most of the time). What did it look like? Easy to read and super detailed with clear photos (no blurry ones here).
We’re probably splitting hairs here, but their unavailability on Sundays is a disadvantage, given that most home inspectors in the area are open daily. But hey, it’s the service that actually counts.
It’s not like they’re tough to reach, anyway, since they were quick to make appointments. And from what we’ve seen, their pricing has been accurate—what they quote is what you’ll pay for.

One of the reasons we included JEM Home Inspection LLC is because of their wide service area, covering southeast Indiana. Their offerings include homes and commercial spaces, offering thermal imaging and mold inspection.
They aren’t a solid 10 since they’re quite limited by not providing other testing services, like water quality. Still, the full home inspection is thorough, since they’ll check every nook and cranny, from roof to drainage.
The reports, which were delivered the same day, have also been impressive. We appreciate the informative summaries, which were straightforward without missing any details.
They’re located in Lawrenceburg, though, which is a little far from Indianapolis. It isn’t a massive downside since they’re the ones driving to you—let’s just hope they don’t get stuck in traffic.
All in all, everything’s good since they operate on an appointment basis, and they’re open seven days a week. Their reliability gets a thumbs up from clients as well, since they arrived right on schedule.

When we looked for experienced home inspectors in Indy, Peaceful Home Inspections stood out. The owner even worked in pest control before, giving him the background to spot these nasty bugs hiding in houses.
They cater to greater Indianapolis and its surrounding areas, making them highly accessible. But they aren’t open daily, unlike other home inspection services in the area—only a minor downside.
They offer a lot, anyway. Their expertise includes sewer scope inspections, radon testing, and wood-destroying insect inspections.
And how did they do the job? Thoroughly. We didn’t receive negative notes during our surveys, since their home inspector was very meticulous in including even the smallest issues.
We see no issues with reliability as well. They arrived on time and delivered comprehensive reports, which they can provide on the same day as the inspection!
Overall, this investment is worth it. Scheduling was fast, and the prices weren’t ridiculously expensive, making them a good value.

There is nothing Aardvark Home Inspections won’t check, and we mean that literally. They offer a wide variety of services that will cover the whole house, which is perfect for older homes that need that extra assessment.
Their offerings range from the usual home inspection to various testing services, such as radon, mold, air quality, and termite. Additionally—and impressively—they offer solutions for these issues, like radon mitigation and mold remediation.
Another service they provide that we don’t normally see in home inspectors in Indy is their extended warranty. This is for future protection since it can help you save on costs once appliances start malfunctioning.
It would’ve been perfect if we hadn’t seen some issues, like unhappy clients due to the hit-or-miss home inspectors. Some missed a couple of spots, but most did a thorough job.
Their availability isn’t perfect either, considering they’re closed on weekends. Booking a slot is fairly easy, though—you just have to take a day off if you want to witness the process.
