Its prime downtown location also includes a thoughtfully divided layout. It features a main gallery and a more intimate lounge area, allowing for smooth transitions throughout your celebration.
Another benefit is the venue’s fully open vendor policy, which gives you full control over customization. Because of this flexibility, you can hire any licensed caterer or decorator that fits your style and budget.
However, while the abundant natural light looks stunning in daytime photos, the logistics require a bit of extra planning. Since the property does not have a dedicated private parking lot, guests will need to use nearby street parking or paid garages.

Had such an amazing time
Had such an amazing time for the NYE event a few weeks ago. Great vibes all around! Plenty of space inside. Bartenders were awesome, and security was top notch! Parking is available in a paid side lot, in the alley behind the venue with meters, or in the paid parking garage.

Tinker House Events occupies a stunning 1915 building filled with floor-to-ceiling factory windows and custom installations crafted by local Indianapolis artists.
Because of its second-floor location, the venue also offers beautiful and unobstructed views of the city skyline. It’s a brilliant backdrop for evening cocktails.
When I recently attended a colleague’s anniversary dinner there, I was especially impressed by how smoothly guests moved from the moody ground-floor café to the bright upper loft. Even better, they allow well-behaved pets to join the festivities.
Just be mindful of your final headcount before booking this charming spot. The room has a strict seated capacity of 200 guests.
You also can’t book a caterer outside of their preferred vendor list, which limits your catering flexibility.

Fantastic facility, generous parking, customisable interior. Good table arrangement and viewing angles. Really good and hygienic restrooms. Never felt crowded for 170 people. From glamorous to traditional events more than fit for purpose. Video projection systems and audio are excellent with no echos or reverberation- A class.

I recently spoke with a local organizer who hosted a seminar there. She praised the built-in surround sound and screen mirroring, which helped eliminate the cost of extra equipment.
They also operate with a veteran-led hospitality model, which shows in their careful attention to detail.
