Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Select Dates)
Clearview Family Tree Farm delivers an award-winning destination that elevates standard tree shopping into a full festive outing.
I visited last winter with my niece, and she absolutely loved walking through the glowing trees before we picked out a gorgeous pre-cut fir.
This location truly provides a wonderful backdrop for making family memories and taking beautiful holiday photos. It’s a good weekend activity that can be much more enjoyable than attending a pottery class in Indianapolis.
If you do decide to go here, note that their standard operating hours are strictly limited to select days, which makes it tough for families hoping to drop by on a random weekday afternoon.

More Than Just aTree Farm
Very glad we went, kids had a good time, especially on the wagon ride to the back lot.. Trees were priced more than reasonable compared to other local tree farms and the people were very friendly and willing to help. Definitely a bit more than just a tree farm.

Always a Great Selection
We’ve been buying a tree from Jay’s close to 9 years. There is always a great selection and the customer service is outstanding! Everyone there is so friendly and quick to help cut down your tree if you need it and then haul it to the shaker.

3. Evans Whispering Pines, LLC Christmas Tree Farm

Website: http://www.evanswhisperingpines.com/
Address: 1538 N County Rd 400 W
Contact: (317) 745-3146, [email protected]
Hours: Friday – Sunday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
One of the hardest parts of buying a Christmas tree is the physical stress of hauling heavy timber. That in itself is a workout more challenging than playing miniature golf.
That’s why it’s a huge relief that Evans Whispering Pines offers comprehensive free services like mechanical shaking.
Aside from the extra help in that department, the shopping experience here is a uniquely interactive experience. They introduce families to resident farm animals like Buddy the miniature donkey, which kids absolutely love.
Buyers can also browse the extensive gift shop for indoor decorations or watch live chainsaw wood carving in early December.
Keep in mind that historical droughts have caused a vulnerable field supply, so they occasionally face shortages in their choose-and-cut inventory.

4. Gore’s Christmas Trees

Website: https://goreschristmastrees.com/
Address: 3535 Kessler Blvd E Dr
Contact: (317) 538-4442
Hours: Monday – Sunday, Contact for seasonal hours
Finding a massive pine without driving far out into the rural counties is a rare convenience. Gore’s Christmas Trees draws on exactly that.
This family-operated holiday tradition has built six decades of trust as a reliable urban lot. They carry a staggering height range, making it easy to find a tree that perfectly fits a high-ceiling home or apartment.
I bought a tree here for my own living room last December, and the Gore family personally guaranteed the fresh product with fantastic customer service.
Their location is also a huge plus, centrally located and incredibly easy to access.
Because of their massive popularity and finite urban space, however, they routinely experience extremely rapid sell-outs.
Customer Reviews:
Reasonable Prices
They have nice trees for reasonable prices. It’s cash or check only. I left my checkbook on the counter, and Mr. Gore called right away and held it until I could back there. I will be buying my tree there every year!

5. Watts Christmas Tree Farm and Greenery

Website: https://wattschristmastreefarm.com/
Address: 9101 Moore Rd
Contact: (317) 873-2365
Hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Sunday, 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Watts Christmas Tree Farm and Greenery blends agricultural history with delicious treats. Proudly operating as the oldest continuous farm of its kind in the area, they are deeply embedded in the multi-generational fabric of the community.
A visit here creates a memorable winter outing. After picking out an extra-large beauty, you can warm up by their cozy outdoor firepit on a crisp afternoon.
They even partner with Traders Point Creamery to deliver great eats while you shop for your Christmas tree.
Unfortunately, their premium inventory depletes fast, leading to an aggressive season closure where they completely shut down by mid-December.
Customer Reviews:
Reasonable Prices
Lovely staff, excellent service. Reasonable prices and the tree is beautiful! No bare spots to hide in the back on the one we selected (7 3/4ft) They had all sizes of trees and wreathes. We will come back to experience the restaurant and dairy bar. 10/10 will come back next year.
