1. Meurer Graphics

Website: http://www.meurergraphics.com/
Areas Served: Indianapolis
Contact: 317-759-4417 | [email protected]
Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
With more than 20 years of experience, Meurer Graphics brings the kind of polish you’d expect from a larger agency, but with a much more personal approach.
I actually worked with them on a logo project for a friend’s startup, and I like how the owner was quick to respond, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain each step of the process.
What I appreciated most was that everything felt custom. There was no reliance on generic stock graphics or cookie-cutter templates.
However, they’re a smaller team, so they may not be the best fit if you need a huge volume of work turned around in a very short timeframe. For branding, logos, and everyday design projects, though, they do a really solid job.
Customer Reviews:
He got my website up and running quickly
Aaron was fabulous to work with as he developed a website for me. He had excellent suggestions and even created a logo that truly represents my product and personality. He was able to determine my business style as we communicated only via email, which I found very impressive and time efficient. He got my website up and running quickly. He follows through with what he says and told me of costs up front before we got started. He is very professional and I highly recommend him. The entire process from start to finish went smoothly.

2. Second Street Creative

Website: http://www.2ndcreative.com/
Address: 1525 Prospect St, Suite D
Contact: 317-426-9799 | [email protected]
Hours: No specified hours
Second Street Creative spent more than a decade working with both local businesses and larger clients, which gives them a pretty broad perspective.
On top of that, they regularly support local nonprofits. That says a lot about how connected they are to the community.
To support projects at different stages of growth, you can expect their team to work on everything from brand strategy and visual identity to product packaging.
And instead of jumping straight into logos or visuals, they spend time learning about your business, your goals, and what makes your brand different. That extra effort helps create designs that feel authentic rather than something pulled from a template.
Just keep in mind that their process requires your involvement. If you’re looking for a quick, hands-off project, it may feel a bit intensive.
But if you’re willing to invest the time, the final result is usually much stronger because of it.
Customer Reviews:

I can’t recommend Ryan and Second Street Creative enough!

3. The Studio VII, LLC

Website: https://www.thestudio7indy.com/
Address: 3039 N Post Rd Suite 1355
Contact: [email protected]
Hours: No specified hours
The Studio VII does something a little different by combining graphic design and custom apparel services in one place.
That means they can help create your logo, then turn around and print it on shirts, event materials, or other branded items without you having to juggle multiple vendors.
Another thing people tend to appreciate is how collaborative they are throughout the process. They welcome feedback, make adjustments when needed, and work with clients from all kinds of industries.
That flexibility makes it easier to end up with something that actually feels like your brand.
The only thing that can take a minute to get used to is their structure. Since their services are divided between two sub-brands, it may feel a bit different from a traditional creative agency at first.
Once you get past that, though, the process is straightforward, with final designs that are polished and highly customized.

He was patient with me during the design process
Brandon is a very talented graphic artist! He made me 2 logos for different businesses. He was patient with me during the design process, and worked with me until my vision came to life. He is the first graphic artist that I have ever used, so I don’t know how pricing is normally, but I felt like he was very affordable. I found The Studio VII, through word of mouth, from another of his customers, who also has a cool logo. I definitely recommend!

4. Elyse Myers Design

Website: http://www.elysemyersdesign.com/
Areas Served: Indianapolis
Contact: 317-721-8208 | [email protected]
Elyse Myers Design specializes in branding and custom typography. A colleague of mine hired her to create a campaign for a pharmacy, and was impressed by how quickly Elyse understood the business and its goals.
She took those ideas and turned them into visuals that felt approachable, professional, and true to the brand.
I love her freelance setup, which means you’re communicating directly with the person creating the work from start to finish. That often leads to a smoother process and fewer things getting lost along the way.
The transparent pricing is another bonus, ideal for those who are working with a limited budget.
The only drawback is that she’s a solo freelancer. During busier periods, turnaround times can be a bit longer than what you’d get from a larger agency.
Customer Reviews:
Understood our vision right away
We can’t say enough good things about Elyse! She was incredibly responsive, understood our vision right away, and delivered designs faster than we imagined. She created five typography displays for our office space that strike the perfect balance between creativity and simplicity. We’re so glad we got to work with her and couldn’t be happier with the final result! Thank you, Elyse!

Our channel is picking up some traction
Elyse did a wonderful job helping my wife and I create a family vlog logo! She was quick to reply when we reached out, set up a conference call, and helped us come up with a direction to go. Her communication was fantastic, and the design was better than we had hoped. Our channel is picking up some traction and we know the logo has helped a ton! It’s also a wonderful image of our family that we will cherish for years to come and for that we are so grateful.

5. Davis Graphic Design

Website: http://www.davisgraphics.com/
Address: 1414 West Hanna Avenue
Contact: 317-254-1286 | [email protected]
Hours: No hours specified.
If you’re looking for a designer with serious print experience, Davis Graphic Design is worth a closer look.
They’ve been in the industry for more than 3 decades and have built a reputation around high-quality brochures, magazines, catalogs, and other printed materials.
That level of experience is hard to come by these days, especially when so many agencies focus almost entirely on digital work.
The studio is led by an award-winning artist, and you can see that expertise in the attention given to color, layout, and overall presentation.
I’m also impressed that they do a good job of keeping projects on budget, whether they’re working with a small local business or a larger national organization.
Unfortunately, their strengths are definitely rooted in print. If your main goal is creating apps, websites, or other UI/UX-focused projects, there are probably better options out there.
