Hours:

  • Check-in time: 4:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM

If you are traveling with family or just want to cook your own meals, you need a hotel that feels like home. Staybridge Suites Indianapolis-Fishers is a great choice because it offers full kitchens and large suites with plenty of room for everyone.

We suggested this spot to a colleague for a staycation, and her family really enjoyed the backyard basketball court. They also loved the free evening social that even covered their dinner on a Tuesday.

The free laundry machines and indoor pool are also very helpful for longer stays.

One minor issue is that the hotel is about 30 minutes from downtown. Because of this, you might miss the excitement of the city center.

But if you want a quiet, easy retreat, this is a fantastic, convenient place to stay.

Pros

  • Full suite kitchens in every room
  • On-site indoor pool and sports court
  • Free social hour meals and drinks
  • Pet-friendly policy for local dog owners

Cons

  • 30-minute drive to downtown Indianapolis
  • Lacks a full-service sit-down restaurant

Customer Reviews:

Our room was perfect
We recently spent two nights at the Staybridge Suites in Fishers, Indiana, and had an excellent experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and our room was perfect. The in-room kitchen was highly functional and convenient, and the amenities throughout the property were of outstanding quality. Its proximity to local restaurants and attractions added to the overall convenience. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the inclusion of a full-size refrigerator was especially beneficial for an extended stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Fishers or greater Indianapolis area.

The rooms were very nice
Last minute stay with kiddos and it was a fantastic one night stay. Pool, hot tub, court yard was all a bonus. Everything was clean and the rooms were very nice. We had the multifamily suite and the kitchenette was great.

Address: 1 S Capitol Ave

Contact0: (317) 632-1234

Hours:

  • Check-in time: 4:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 12:00 PM

Nothing captures the magic of a downtown escape like having an entire city connected to your lobby.

At the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, climate-controlled skywalks give you easy access to the convention center and the mall. This makes it a great base for anyone wanting to explore the city.

The massive 22-floor open atrium sets a grand tone as soon as you walk in.

You can spend your day swimming in the indoor pool and then visit the rooftop restaurant. It is called The Eagle’s Nest, the only revolving restaurant in the city.

However, you should know that they have a strict no-pet policy.

Also, the valet and parking fees in the garage will be added to your final bill.

Still, it is a spectacular place for a city stay.

Pros

  • Revolving rooftop restaurant on-site
  • Climate-controlled skywalk access
  • Year-round indoor swimming pool
  • Steps away from Monument Circle

Cons

  • Strict no-pet policy for guests
  • Expensive daily garage parking fees

Customer Reviews:

What an incredible stay we had!
What an incredible stay we had! The customer service was absolutely above and beyond. Jennifer at the front desk was so excited to hear that we were Australians road-tripping through the States and even upgraded our room. She also gave us a list of things we could do around all her favourite cities and was just genuinely a kind soul. The parking officers were also amazing — both Noah and Cameron went out of their way to help us navigate parking with our international numbers. Truly kind and thoughtful people all around!

Beautiful view, friendly and caring staff
Loved that we were next to the canal. Even loved the fact that we got to see a little bit of snow while we were in town. Beautiful view, friendly and caring staff. Will definitely be coming back.

3. Sybaris Indianapolis

Address: 5466 W 86th St

Contact: (317) 337-9000 | (888) 805-7665 | [email protected]

Hours:

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM

Standard hotels often feel too busy for couples who want to truly focus on each other. Sybaris Indianapolis offers a perfect escape with private suites, heated pools, and an adults-only policy.

My partner and I stayed there recently and were impressed by the tropical climate inside our room. With a private waterfall and a misting steam room, it felt like we had traveled to a far-off island.

Because the suites are separate cottages, you can enjoy your stay without seeing any other people.

Just keep in mind that check-in only happens during a small window in the early evening.

Also, a mandatory membership fee makes the first visit a bit more expensive.

However, for a completely private and romantic sanctuary, the cost and the rules are well worth the amazing experience you get in return.

Pros

  • Private heated in-suite swimming pools
  • Strict couples-only romantic environment
  • Self-contained suite cottage design
  • High professional sanitation standards

Cons

  • Very narrow evening check-in window
  • Mandatory club membership fee required

4. Ironworks Hotel Indy

Address: 2721 E 86th St

Contact: (463) 221-2200 | [email protected]

Hours:

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 12:00 PM

Sometimes a quick recharge requires striking architecture and great food without any driving. The Ironworks Hotel Indy offers exactly that with its cool industrial design.

It was inspired by 19th-century metal factories and includes high-end shops and dining, such as Provision, right in the building.

As the only boutique hotel on the north side, it provides a top-tier experience that recently earned a MICHELIN Key. You will love relaxing in rooms with big walk-in showers and custom rustic furniture.

However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The Keystone Crossing location can get very crowded with traffic during busy shopping hours.

Also, you are about 25 minutes from downtown. This makes the hotel a better fit for a local luxury retreat rather than a trip where you need to visit the city center often.

Pros

  • Adjacent to premier luxury shopping
  • Distinctive industrial-chic aesthetic
  • High-end walk-in showers and room features
  • One MICHELIN Key service standards

Cons

  • 25-minute drive from downtown Indianapolis
  • Heavy local traffic congestion nearby

Customer Reviews:

The staff were exceptionally helpful
We needed somewhere to stash 2 adults, 2 large house cats and one Service Dog (Airedale Terrier) while our attic was being treated for mold removal. The staff were exceptionally helpful & we were even able to check in at an unusually early time. I will definitely be recommending this place to the folks I know. The decor is most epic & the Heritage rooms are so spacious. We will be staying here again, even if it’s just for a mini-staycation!

Great for a weekend staycation!
Great for a weekend staycation! Be sure to reserve an apt at Massage Heights before you arrive. We loved the big TV in our room…we almost didn’t want to leave. Room service food was good but definitely take advantage of the restaurants within walking distance.

5. Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Downtown

Address: 10 E Market St

Contact: (317) 955-9700 | [email protected]

Hours:

  • Check-in time: 4:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 12:00 PM

Mixing modern comfort with early-20th-century architecture is a great way to enhance your weekend. The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Indianapolis is located in a beautiful 1914 bank skyscraper.

It features tall ceilings and a direct indoor path to the Salesforce Tower.

On top of that, every room has a microwave and a fridge for your snacks.

Since it’s only a half-block from Monument Circle, you can easily walk to all the big attractions. This means you can park your car and forget about it for the rest of your trip.

The hotel is also a great base if you are looking for wedding venues in the city or are in the process of moving.

Just keep in mind that the historic parking garage has low ceilings. Large SUVs may not fit, and the daily valet fees can be quite expensive.

Overall, it is a fantastic spot to stay right in the heart of the city.

Pros

  • Central downtown city walkability
  • Historic 1914 bank architecture
  • Connected indoors to the Salesforce Tower
  • In-room microwave and mini-refrigerator

Cons

  • Expensive daily valet parking fees
  • Strict garage height limits for larger vehicles

Customer Reviews:

We had a wonderful stay here
We had a wonderful stay here for a swim meet we traveled for. We upgraded our rooms to queen beds, had a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room with the good creamer and coffee. Rooms had a warm and upgraded decor that was pleasant, the beds were super comfy as well as the pillows. Great night sleep for my son and me! Staff was very helpful and attentive. Jaden and Lily helped to check us in early and handled any of our needs. We will be back!

Excellent location
I am in Indianapolis often for work and this is my favorite hotel in the city. Not only are the rooms always clean and comfortable, but the staff is incredible here. Jossie took a fair amount of time to help me print documents that I needed— and was very polite. My rewards status was also recognized, and I received an upgrade, given availability, during another stay. Excellent location and an extremely well run property. I will certainly stay here again—and you should too!
