1. Gregs Indy

Hours: Mon-Tue & Thu-Sat: 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM; Wed: 4:00 AM – 3:00 AM; Sun: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Stepping into this lively venue immediately reveals why it remains a premier destination for LGBTQIA+ entertainment and nightlife in the city.
Gregs Indy frequently hosts diverse community events and legendary drag performances that draw energetic crowds looking for an engaging time.
I personally checked out one of their viewing parties last month, and the vibrant atmosphere kept everyone cheering late into the night. Late-night owls will certainly appreciate that the doors stay open until 3 am every single day of the week.
Furthermore, hosting a private function here is highly structured. They have a formal event request system that grants access to a full stage and audio equipment.
Just keep in mind that guests utilizing the dressing and office areas for performances face steep cleaning deposit penalties if the space isn’t completely restored before leaving.
It was simple but yet it was just perfect.
We decided to go here while on vacation. Me and my friend’s first time at a gay bar together. We enjoyed it. The bartender was very friendly. We ordered margarita’s and watched the drag show. It was simple but yet it was just perfect. Everyone was so nice.

Prices are always reasonable, service is good and drinks are spot on.
Love Greg’s everything I come out. One of the few LGBT establishments left that has made it thru many changes. Prices are always reasonable, service is good and drinks are spot on. Love gathering here with local friends to enjoy a night of drag, play darts, or just drink and socialize. Greg’s will always have a special place in everyone’s memories. Come out and support the local events!

Address: 822 N Illinois St
Contact: (317) 636-5597
Hours: Mon-Sun: 7:00 AM – 3:00 AM
While some partygoers prefer hopping between electric nightclubs, Downtown Olly is a welcoming, diverse-safe haven. This place also doubles as an award-winning entertainment venue with serious local acclaim.
Grabbing the microphone during “Ollywood Karaoke” on a Wednesday night feels incredibly rewarding, especially since they recently secured a title as the top karaoke bar of the year.
Overall, the inclusive environment makes it remarkably easy to let loose and sing your favorite tracks. Attending their age-restricted special events brings a fun, adult-only atmosphere with dazzling performances during dinner service.
If you’re booking a private party here, it comes with fantastic perks like complimentary parking for over 30 cars and waived minimum fees if your group orders enough food and drinks.
You should note that private event-based packages are strictly limited to two hours, with any additional party time incurring an expensive hourly upcharge.
As essential to the Indy experience.

As essential to the Indy experience for any visitor or resident of the city, must-experience. Being at Ollys is like being at the best party in town!
This bar is always fun! The staff treats everyone like family! The bartenders will suggest drinks and food that are fantastic! If you’re looking for the best fries and chicken in town look no further. The fries are crisped to perfection and never frozen. Their chicken tenders are flavorful and moist. Contact: (317) 822-5070
Schedule: Mon-Sat: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM; Sun: 10:00 AM – 2:00 AM
A close friend, who usually spends his weekends training with a local golf coach nearby, convinced me to visit this highly sociable restaurant nestled right in the Historic Saint Joseph Neighborhood.
English Ivy’s has built a stellar reputation by seamlessly blending hand-crafted cocktails with a robust, locally sourced food menu.
The fully functioning kitchen serves up fantastic meals throughout the entire day and even prepares convenient carryout orders for guests on the go.
Finding a seat is delightfully straightforward thanks to an accommodating policy that welcomes walk-ins without prior reservations.
Plus, securing a spot for your vehicle is relatively stress-free because the building offers a dedicated private lot alongside accessible street parking.
On the downside, they have an exclusive seasonal-inspired menu. This means that specific favorite dishes are frequently rotated out and may be unavailable for long stretches during certain times of the year.

I love this bar so much.
This is a fantastic neighborhood bar that you should definitely check out. The employees are very fun and welcoming, and the drinks will not disappoint. The biggest draw is the quality and variety of the food menu. Their daily specials are great if you’re looking for quality food/drinks without breaking the bank. If you go for their prime rib special make sure you get there early otherwise you’ll have to eat standing, because the place is packed. I love this bar so much.

4. Tini

Website: http://www.tiniontheave.com/
Address: 717 Massachusetts Ave
Contact: 317-986-6603
Schedule: Mon-Fri: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sat-Sun: 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Locating a premier nightlife experience on Massachusetts Avenue is simple once you discover Tini, a high-energy cultural staple. This vibrant venue specializes in signature cocktails and offers an exclusive upstairs dance floor for high-profile monthly shows.
Pumping music keeps the crowd moving thanks to a diverse roster of local and resident DJ talent spinning tracks deep into the weekend. Partygoers will appreciate the energetic dance floor remaining active until three in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays.
This venue’s prime location is also fantastic. It places guests directly in the center of a prominent and walkable entertainment district.
However, navigating the venue can be challenging because the split-level layout requires climbing steep stairs to reach the main shows during crowded, low-light nights.
Since the space is intimate and often reaches capacity quickly, arriving early is recommended to secure a spot before the late-night rush begins.
Been a staple to the LGBTQ+ community for many years!
Tiny has been a staple to the LGBTQ+ community for many years! Back here after 4 years and this establishment still provides some of the best cocktails and amazing atmosphere. Came here on a Friday night with a group of 4 and sure was busy. Didn’t take long to get a drink at the bar. We were able to get a table to sit, talk, and enjoy the evening. Prices are moderate but not outrageous. We weren’t charged a cover but they do card at the door. Unsure about bar food. Must try if down Mass Ave!

5. Metro

Website: http://metro-indy.com/
Address: 707 Massachusetts Ave
Contact: (317) 639-6022
Schedule: Mon-Thu: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM; Fri: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM; Sat: 2:00 PM – 3:00 AM; Sun: 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Operating successfully since 1990, this iconic adults-only venue on Mass Ave expertly combines pub-style cuisine with a highly spirited atmosphere.
Metro’s space creates a multi-faceted nightlife experience featuring a remarkably spacious indoor dance floor and a beautifully fenced-in outdoor patio for socializing.
High-value food portions, such as hearty shared nachos, make dining here highly economical for larger groups looking to comfortably split the bill.
If you need a break from the loud music pulsing across the interior dance floor, stepping outside offers a breezy respite.
The kitchen even generously stays open late into the night on weekends to satisfy those sudden cravings for hand-breaded chicken tenders.
However, late-night weekday patrons should plan their meals in advance, as the kitchen shuts down at 1 am Monday through Thursday, leaving no hot food options.
It’s more than just a bar; it’s a community.
Absolutely loved this place! The vibe was fun, inclusive, and full of great energy. The drinks were strong, the music was good, and the crowd was welcoming. What really made the night special, though, was the owner—so kind, genuine, and clearly puts so much heart into the space. You can tell it’s more than just a bar; it’s a community. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

Safe and fun space and is inclusive to all!
Love metro! Such a safe and fun space and is inclusive to all! Staff is attentive to needs and fun. Dj’s are typically good. I prefer this to the other LGBT bars out there. Food is typically good, but if bar food isn’t your thing, there’s so many options you can walk to.
